Communication

We have started a brand new school year with new expectations and hopes for our students. Langley School District has provided the following set of guidelines for reporting an issue or concern. As I speak with parents, guardians, and grandparents, there is a common thread of not knowing how to communicate effectively with teachers and administration. I want to encourage everyone, should an issue or concern arise, to follow the steps provided.

If elected to the school board, I would want to make sure that there is an accountability mechanism in place to ensure that the process is followed and that a resolution and conclusion is documented. All families should have their concerns welcomed and no person should fear communicating with their teachers or administration staff. Through honest and kind communication, we can all have our voices heard.

Great job from our school district informing families about the notification service for parental outreach, emergency broadcasts, school information, student attendance alerts, secure file delivery, and other communications for education.
